Dr. David Williams II, Executive Officer to the Assistant Medical Center Director at Shreveport’s VA Hospital, is our next Black History First.
One of the two first African American men to earn a doctorate from Louisiana State University at Shreveport (LSUS), he has walked a path that has not only inspired others, but shown what determination and drive can achieve. In 2019, he received his well earned degree in Education in Leadership Studies making history.
His leadership and desire to empower others are a welcomed assets inside and out of the hospital. Williams is one to watch in the coming years as a difference maker in the city.
