Gospel singer and worship leader, James Wilson releases his sophomore project titled “Songs for the Nations.” Following a Billboard Gospel #1 release of Songs for the Church, this project builds upon the initial success and aims to connect the church across nations.
“The last couple of years have been trying,” Wilson said. “With racial tension, COVID-19, and an ongoing pandemic, God spoke to my heart and shared ‘In a world that attempts to divide us, there’s a song that unites us.’ So, we brought people from different backgrounds and ethnicities to join together in song – all united under the banner of Christ.”
With more than one million streams already, the “Songs for the Nation’s” leading single “I Gotta Song” offers an upbeat, joy-filled, hand-clapper that worship leaders are starting to enjoy.
“Ultimately, we want to equip the church with songs to sing during worship that will usher the presence of God into the room,” Wilson said. “If the local church is blessed, we’ve accomplished our mission.”
Listeners can expect to hear an eclectic variety of sounds from across nations from Jamaican to oriental vibes. Additionally, listeners will enjoy creative yet simple production and strong, quality engineering from John Jaszcz and Dave Harris.
“Lord! We have been waiting on this,” Gospel Singer, Tasha Cobbs-Leonard said.
