The United Churches of God in Christ, Inc. (UCOGIC) is a Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, where the word of God is preached, the ordinances instituted by Christ are administered and the love of God is extended to all. Founded in 1980 by the late Presiding Bishop Marshall Carter, who served until his death in 2003. The Church since 2009 has been under the capable leadership of Presiding Bishop Aaron B. Lackey, Sr. of Fairburn GA. has grown exponentially. We now have 160 churches throughout the United States, the Bahamas, the Republic of South Africa, Nigeria, Liberia, Rwanda and Uganda. In 2023 producer/gospel recording artist James Jackson of iSound Music label and of James Jackson & Atlanta Praise as our new Director of Worship & Arts for the Temple of Prayer UCOGIC and the UCOGIC assembly recorded this awesome choir in their first ever single and (EP) project live in Atlanta is being released on the I Sound Music Label out of Atlanta GA.
