Bishop Dan Willis and The All Nations Choir (formerly The Pentecostals of Chicago) Return After Two Decades To Release

Known as Chicago’s “Bridging the Gap” Church, The Lighthouse Church of All Nations, under the leadership of Senior Pastor Garland Mays, in southwest suburban Alsip, IL, is a thriving multi-cultural, non-denominational ministry founded forty-two years ago by Bishop Dan Willis.

In the 90s, Bishop Willis founded the iconic choir The Pentecostals of Chicago (P.O.C.). He released anointed albums, including BRIDGING THE GAP (1992), STAND (1995), LIVE IN KINGSTON JAMAICA (1997), and SONGS FROM THE U.K. (2000).  The choir now goes by the name, The All Nations Choir.  This new generation of dynamic voices in The All Nations Choir returns after twenty-eight years in a high-praise live album recorded at The Light House Church of All Nations last fall.

“I have been recording Gospel music from Chicago, the home of Gospel Music, for over 30 years. This project is my HEART,” says Bishop Dan Willis, songwriter, musician, and overseer of The Light House Church of All Nations.  “I have never been so excited to share it with you, my dear friends. Through the years, in my darkest moments, when I could not remember my sermons or anyone else’s, a song brought me through. I pray you will always know God inhabits the praises of His People. So get ready for this marvelous album, and get ready to REJOICE and SHOUT with me!”

The All Nations Choir’s (ANC) forthcoming LIVE IN CHICAGO album will feature guest appearances by Willie Moore, Jr, Wes Morgan, Jesse Campbell, Bridgette Hurt (Light House Minister of Music), and many more.  The album welds worship anthems, traditional Gospel, Contemporary Christian, and charismatic praise songs into one body of work that unifies cultures, generations, and these often divided music genres.

“This project will certainly lift your spirits, and there is something on the album for everyone,” says Bryan Hurt, Music Director at Light House Church. “Psalm 16:11 says In thy presence is fulness of joy.  One cannot be full of joy and anxiety at the same time or full of joy and despair at the same time. Allow this project to not only bless and encourage you but allow it to usher you into the presence of God.”

This long-awaited LIVE IN CHICAGO album by Bishop Dan Willis and ANC is now available.  Their first radio and digital single, “Praise Him,” featuring vocal lead Fred Dubose, will release and hit radio in June.  LIVE IN CHICAGO is being released on the church record label Asone Music Group.

Bishop Willis and ANC will be touring and making summer appearances in the US and abroad.  Bishop Willis and ANC will be in Queens Village, New York, at New Greater Bethel Ministries, 215-32 Jamaica Ave, for the JUBILEE GOSPEL CELEBRATION CONCERT.   They will also sing music from their new album at the CHICAGO GOSPEL MUSIC FESTIVAL on Saturday, June 3, at Millennium Park.
