35th Annual African American History Parade CelebrationShreveport, Louisiana2023 National Theme: “Black Resistance” Saturday, February 4, 202311a-3p in Downtown Shreveport
We are inviting all churches (choirs), drill teams, youth departments, colleges, universities, school boards, ROTC units, pep squads, cheerleaders, sororities, fraternities, civic clubs, trail riders, horseback riders, motorcycles, community groups, businesses, families, gospel groups, military armed forces, Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts, Brownies, YWCA, YMCA, Shreveport SPAR, cars/sports organizations, and film industry to participate. The African American Parade Celebration Ball will be held the same night of the Parade, February 4th, from 8p-12:30a at the Independence Stadium Skybox, 3301 Pershing Blvd., Shreveport, Louisiana 71109. The attire is Formal/Semi-formal (men are asked to wear dark suits). The donation ticket fee is $85 per person. Tickets can be picked up at the Check-In Desk for the lineup of the Parade or Shoppers Value Foods on Greenwood Road.
