Chicago Mass Choir Releases First Radio Single, “HE’S A WONDER”

New Haven Records announces the release of a brand new single from Stellar Award-winning recording artist, Chicago Mass Choir. He’s A Wonder released to radio on February 15. This marks the debut song from the renowned Choir’s new recording, Greater Is Coming, which is scheduled to hit streets later this year.

In support of the upcoming release, the Grammy and Dove Award nominated Choir was featured when the state of Wisconsin hosted its official Martin Luther King Day celebration on January 15 in the city of Madison. This year’s event marked the 43rd annual celebration and took place at the state’s Capitol Rotunda. The performance in Madison came on the heels of the Choir’s successful 22-day tour of Spain in December. According to Chicago Mass Choir President, the group was honored to be a part of such an historical event. “In spite of the sub-zero weather,” Chicago Mass Choir President and CEO Feranda Williamson states, “we were honored to perform with such a diverse group of artists that included a Mariachi ensemble and a band that was a part of the Chippewa Tribe of Lake Superior. We were also honored that Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers, along with other dignitaries, attended.” Chicago Mass Choir delighted attendees with their performance of He’s A Wonder. The performance at the MLK Celebration in Madison marked the third time Chicago Mass Choir has been invited to be a part of the annual tribute to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King. The program was streamed LIVE on PBS Wisconsin.

Additionally, as a part of the Black History Month celebration, Chicago Mass Choir was honored to sing the National Anthem at the Chicago Bulls’ home game on February 3 at the United Center. The Windy City’s famed Choir also performed during half-time, singing spirituals like “When The Saints Go Marching In” and “Glory Hallelujah!”

He’s A Wonder will be released for downloading and streaming on March 22, as well as the song’s new video, according to New Haven Records President, Ken Harding. “The release of this new video and the new single is exciting news for long-time Chicago Mass Choir fans. The new single, is classic Chicago Mass Choir. We know that their supporters and radio will be thrilled with this upcoming release.”
