DARE Records hosts Inaugural DOVE Awards After Party
DARE Records, continuing their year-long 15th Crystal Anniversary celebration, the multi-genre leading home for independent artists, hosted its inaugural DOVE Awards afterparty dinner. Hosted by label CEO & Chairman Michael-Anthony “Mooki” Taylor and president Tara Griggs-Magee, the invite-only exclusive celebration was held at STK in downtown Nashville. VIP invited guests included The Saylors Brothers, Lynn Keesecker (former and veteran A&R Head at Word Records), Damon Stewart (IGA Talent Management), John Schlitt (lead singer of Petra), Vaughn Alvarez (CR8 Agency), and Out of Eden (Lisa Kimmey Winans, Danielle Kimmey Torrez, and Andrea Baca).
DARE Records impacted the DOVE Awards on behalf of its sister film and television studio company Black Lava Films upcoming documentary, MIC DROP: The Culture of Christian Hip-Hop, profiling the rise of Christian Hip Hop music. Black Lava Films will be releasing a biopic on the iconic group Petra, which will be directed by Saylors Bros.
