Shreveport Mayor Adrian Perkins appointed Pastor CeJay to the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau Board of Directors. The appointment needed the confirmation of the Shreveport City Council; the vote was unanimous in Pastor CeJay, receiving all seven city council members’ votes to serve on this board.
The Shreveport -Bossier Convention & Tourist Bureau is the official visitor information center for visitors to Shreveport, Bossier City, and Caddo and Bossier Parishes, providing information and assistance to tourists, group travel leaders, convention/meeting planners, sports events, and media. Shreveport began life as a log-jammed river port and has become home to a modern convention center, world-class hotels, family-friendly lodges, and charming bed and breakfast inns. The unparalleled dining offers cuisines from all over the world, with our own hometown version of East Texas Cajun. Throw in great shopping, an almost non-stop series of festivals and events, and riverboat casinos, and you can, “Let the good times roll!”
“I’m truly honored that the Mayor would think that highly of me for this appointment, and all seven council members would vote to confirm me, said Pastor CeJay – KOKA Director. I truly believe that Shreveport-Bossier is a wonderful place. I look forward to working with other board members to help increase tourism and bring great events to this area.”
