Local funeral home owner sponsors 12 churches to broadcast live on radio as a response to COVID19

Shreveport, LA – (KOKA) The Coronavirus Disease also known as COVID19 has affected nearly every state within the United States of America. There are 347 cases within the State of Louisiana and 7 cases within Caddo Parish. Of these cases 8 deaths have been reported.

Government officials have banned public and private gatherings of 10 or more. This mandate have impacted churches throughout Caddo Pairsh. But Lynn Conner Jr. and Precious Memories Mortuary have stepped up and sponsoring 12 churches with a radio broadcast on KOKA Radio Station. These churches include:

  1. Love Fellowship Church – Bishop Peter Sasser
  2. Light Hill Baptist Church – Pastor Al Smith
  3. Philadelphia Baptist Church – Pastor Omega Smith
  4. Bethlehem Baptist Church – Dr. Montrell Whitaker
  5. Church of the Living God – Bishop Jerry Maiden, Sr.
  6. Hebrew Baptist Church – Pastor Henry F. Johnson
  7. New Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church – Pastor Bertrand Bailey, Jr.
  8. Union Springs Baptist Church – Pastor Roosevelt Seaberry
  9. The Light Christian Church – Bishop Terrence Trammel
  10. Temple Baptist Church – Pastor John Hollis
  11. Examples of Christ Church – Pastor Don Pope
  12. Shadow of the Cross Church – Pastor Wilbur Dawson, Sr.
